    Operating out of our Mississauga office, this position will provide support to the Payroll Specialists of the bi-weekly payroll for 3,000+ employee.

     

    This position requires well established organizational skills, a high level of motivation and energy, excellent two-way communication and preference for working in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Support processing of the bi-weekly payroll for 3000 employees. 
    • Respond to payroll queries, employee requests.
    • Manage payroll inbox and address employees’ inquiries in a timely manner.
    • Assist with processing terminations, new hires.
    • Assist in reconciliation, validating, assigned projects.
    • Prepare and mail employee garnishments.
    • Acquire and maintain up to date state/provincial regulatory requirements via research and discovery
    • Work closely with HR, Recruitment, and Operations teams
    • ADP and excel Reporting
    • Prepare ACH payments through US/CAD bank for missed payments

    Required Skills:

    • Minimum of 2 years payroll experience
    • Self -starter and able to work independently
    • Ability to multitask
    • Comfortable in a team environment and communicating with others effectively
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel
    • ADP experience is an asset
    • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment as well as in groups
    • Fluency in French is an asset
