About the role:

Reporting to the Chief Customer Officer, the successful Regional Vice President, Eastern Canada will champion the growth of OSL’s team across Eastern Canada. You will lead and manage a group of retail stores within a specific geographic region, focusing on sales growth, operational efficiency, and team development. You are responsible for setting regional strategies, achieving revenue targets, ensuring customer service and driving overall profitability. Your focus will be on building lasting relationships with our current team and client partners.

 

Location: this position can be situated in either Montreal or the Greater Montreal Area.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develops and implements regional sales strategies, aligning them with corporate goals to expand market share and drive revenue growth. 

Sales Management:

  • Leads sales team to achieve revenue targets, manages sales performance, and identifies opportunities for business development within the region. 

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversees store operations, ensuring consistent execution of company initiatives, adherence to policies, and achievement of operational goals. 

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Coaches, mentors, and develops Regional Sales Director, District Managers and store teams, fostering a high-performing and engaged team. 

Customer Experience:

  • Ensures positive and consistent customer experience across all stores, implementing strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. 

Financial Management:

  • Analyzes financial reports, manages budgets, and contributes to the profitability of the region. 

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Works closely with other regional teams and corporate functions to share best practices, identify solutions, and drive continuous improvement. 

Change Management:

  • Adapts to changing market conditions, implements new initiatives, and drives innovation within the region. 

 Compliance:

  • Ensures regional compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations. 

Requirements: 

  • 15+ years’ experience in a Senior Leadership position
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading teams and developing talent.
  • Proven sales and business development experience, with a track record of achieving revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Deep understanding of retail operations and customer service principles.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and manage budgets.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and technologies. 
  • Demonstrated ability to build professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Bilingual in French
