The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle to attract qualified and diverse talent for both field store teams and corporate teams. You will regularly collaborate with HR, program managers, and recruiting leaders to identify current and future hiring needs. Expertise in sourcing, a passion for high-volume recruiting, providing an exceptional candidate experience, and promoting the client's and company’s activities and brand are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the business to understand current and future recruitment needs to develop strategic candidate selection and sourcing campaigns.
- Refine knowledge regarding talent needs of different OSL sales groups and teams.
- Act as an ambassador within the Talent Acquisition team.
- Build and establish connections with managers to understand the desired candidate profile.
- Perform high-volume recruitment in accordance with established objectives and deadlines.
- Proactively solicit feedback from hiring managers regarding candidates and the performance of hired candidates to continuously improve and ensure candidate fit with company and team needs.
- Conduct specific market analysis to ensure localized recruitment efforts are deployed (associations, campuses, organizations, competitive insights).
- Attract candidate attention with a selection process that aligns with the company – from selection to offer to onboarding.
- Execute sourcing plans through internal meetings with clients, maintain Applicant Tracking System (ATS), CV searches, proactive research, and relationship development with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and association members.
- Prepare and present recruitment statistics and reports.
- Prepare, attend, and execute group interviews and job fairs.
- Promote the internal employee referral program.
Required Experience:
- 18 to 24 months of recruitment experience.
- Knowledge of the sales industry.
- Creative, innovative, and meticulous in designing and executing sourcing strategies.
- Highly motivated to achieve results and exceed targets.
- Attention to detail with the ability to manage high volumes and multiple priorities.
- Ability to work occasionally evenings and weekends to support recruitment goals and deadlines across Canada.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office Suite, and ability to navigate sourcing systems such as ATS, job boards, and Google Maps.
